Relax with a glass of this bright, bubbly sangria—it’s simple to make and full of fresh flavor. The fresh peaches provide natural sweetness while the ginger beer adds a lively, spicy effervescence. A splash of peach schnapps deepens the fruit notes, creating a perfectly balanced summer sipper.
Sangria is one of my favorite cocktail formats: wine plus fruit plus something fizzy equals an easy, sharable drink that always feels festive. For this white sangria I like a crisp white wine and non-alcoholic ginger beer for its refreshing bite, but you can adapt to taste.
What you will need:
- I prefer Pinot Grigio for a clean, neutral base; Sauvignon Blanc also works well.
- Non-alcoholic ginger beer adds bright ginger flavor and bubbles. You can use alcoholic ginger beer if you want a stronger cocktail.
- Sugar or another sweetener is optional—add it if you prefer a sweeter sangria.

How to make this recipe:
This sangria is quick to assemble—just combine the ingredients, chill, and serve.
- Slice the peaches and lemons and place them in a 2‑quart pitcher.
- Pour in the white wine, ginger beer and peach schnapps.
- Stir gently, chill for a few hours, then enjoy.

One sip and you’ll understand why this combination of juicy peaches and spicy ginger is so irresistible.
Notes:
- If you don’t have ginger beer, ginger ale will work—expect a milder ginger taste but still a delicious drink.
- Frozen peaches can be used when fresh aren’t available; avoid canned peaches, as their texture and syrupy syrup aren’t ideal here.
- Make the sangria a day ahead if you like: the fruit will soften and infuse more flavor into the wine.

Ginger Peach White Sangria

Ingredients
- 1 bottle white wine, I used Pinot Grigio
- 1 liter ginger beer (or approx. 3 12 oz. cans)
- 1/4 c peach schnapps or peach liqueur
- 3 ripe peaches
- 2 lemons
- 1 T sugar or sweetener, optional
Instructions
-
Slice peaches and lemons and add to a 2‑quart pitcher.
-
Add ginger beer, wine and peach schnapps, then stir to combine.
-
If desired, add sugar or sweetener and stir until dissolved.
-
Chill for 2–4 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a small batch, use a can or half bottle of wine, one can or 1/2‑liter ginger beer, a few peach and lemon slices and about 1 tablespoon peach schnapps.
- No ginger beer? Ginger ale is a fine substitute, yielding a gentler ginger note.
- Frozen peaches can be used when fresh aren’t available; avoid canned peaches for best texture and flavor.
- You can make this sangria a day ahead for a more infused flavor; the fruit will soften as it sits.
