If you’re not an overnight oats convert yet, I get it — they can feel repetitive — but this is my favorite oatmeal flavor for now and worth a try. Earlier this week I shared Spiced Pear + Walnut Overnight Oats and Chocolate Pistachio Overnight Oats, both delicious, but the classic peanut butter and jelly combination still feels unbeatable.

This recipe captures that childhood sandwich in a spoonable, nutrient-rich breakfast. It delivers fiber, protein and healthy fats while letting fresh fruit shine as the “jelly.” You can easily swap different berries to vary the flavor, and stirring in a little jam with the mashed fruit will deepen the flavor if you want an extra-sweet touch.

I usually make several jars at once so busy mornings are simple. This peanut butter and jelly version is the first overnight oats I actually enjoyed cold straight from the fridge, though it warms nicely if you prefer. If you plan to heat your oats, wait to add the berry “jelly” until after warming. If you’re eating cold, mash the berries into a jam-like spread and layer on top before chilling. For those with peanut allergies, use another nut or seed butter and the recipe still works great.

This post wraps up a week of oat-focused breakfasts. While peanut butter & jelly overnight oats are my go-to right now, there are plenty of other flavor ideas to explore — check the site’s overnight oats collection if you want more options or variations to try.
