I’m excited to share this recipe today. Partnering with Prego®+ feels like coming full circle — I grew up with their sauces and now get to share them with my little one.
Even better, there’s a new product I’m loving for sneaking more vegetables into meals: Prego®+ Hidden with Super Veggies. It’s a great option if you’re trying to boost veggie intake for picky eaters (or yourself).

Who doesn’t love pizza? These Hidden Veggie Packed Mini Pizzas are a fun, family-friendly way to enjoy a veggie-filled meal — and the kids likely won’t even notice the extra vegetables. We believe in balance at our house. My son has gone through phases where he only eats a few favorites, so I’m always happy to find ways to add more nutrition without a fight.
Prego®+ Hidden with Super Veggies blends sweet potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, spinach, butternut squash, and roasted red peppers into a smooth, flavorful sauce. It works beautifully on pizzas, pastas, and more.

For the crust I added a touch of whole wheat flour to the yeast-free dough to make it a bit heartier. The dough is soft, chewy, and quick — ready in about 10 minutes. It’s an easy win.
With current shopping habits, in-store browsing isn’t always convenient, but you can still grab this veggie-packed sauce via Kroger pick up. Using grocery pick up has made our weekly routine much easier, especially with a toddler who doesn’t enjoy waiting.
Grab a jar of Prego®+ and plan a fun pizza night — everyone can build their own mini pies and enjoy a meal that’s a little healthier without sacrificing flavor.
What you need to make this recipe:

How to make this recipe:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, sea salt, baking powder, and sugar.
- In a small bowl or cup, whisk 3/4 cup water with the olive oil. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring or using your hands to combine. Add additional water, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough is moistened and comes together. The dough should not be sticky.

- Use your hands to bring the dough together. If it feels too dry, add a little water.
- Move the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead 10–15 times.
- Divide the dough into four equal balls. Roll each ball to about 1/4-inch thickness (or your preferred thickness). Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and poke holes with a fork.

Bake the crusts at 400°F for 6 minutes before adding toppings. Remove from the oven and spread a generous layer of Prego®+ Hidden with Super Veggies sauce over each crust.

Top with shredded mozzarella and your favorite toppings, then bake another 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool a few minutes before serving. Enjoy a cozy pizza night with family and friends.

Notes:
- Sprinkle fresh or dried herbs over the cheese if you like, though picky kids may prefer plain cheese.
- If you don’t have whole wheat flour, you can use only all-purpose flour.
- If the dough needs more water, add it one tablespoon at a time. If you add too much, incorporate a bit more flour to balance the texture.
