Creamy Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip.

I’m taking a short break for some much-needed R&R, but I didn’t want to leave you without a few easy recipes while I’m away. Over the next week I’ll share a couple of simple, tasty ideas — starting with this peanut butter yogurt dip.

Apples and peanut butter have been my obsession lately. I took a plain spoonful of peanut butter and turned it into a lighter, creamier dip that’s great for snacking or serving at parties.

If you’re not in the mood to dip, this is equally delicious eaten by the spoonful.

Why I love this dip so much:

It’s incredibly easy and full of protein and flavor — and let’s be honest, taste matters most. Use a hand mixer to whip it for a super fluffy texture, though stirring by hand works fine if you want to keep cleanup minimal.

Favorite things to dip:

(Aside from a spoon!)

  • pretzels
  • apples
  • strawberries
  • graham crackers, especially chocolate-covered grahams
  • bananas
  • giant marshmallows
  • dark chocolate pieces

There are plenty of options — what will you dip into this creamy goodness?

What you will need to make this Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip Recipe:

  1. Greek yogurt: Plain or vanilla both work. Vanilla gives a sweeter result, so reduce the maple syrup if you prefer less added sweetness.
  2. Peanut butter: Natural creamy peanut butter (the stir kind) blends easily into this dip. If you use a no-stir variety, consider whipping the dip with a mixer for a smoother texture.
  3. Maple syrup: My favorite liquid sweetener. Honey or another liquid sweetener will also work. Powdered sugar can be used if you want a different sweetness.
  4. Vanilla: A splash of vanilla extract enhances the flavor.
  5. Optional add-ins: Mini chocolate chips, cocoa powder, a few tablespoons of softened cream cheese, or cool whip for extra richness.

Notes:

  • You don’t need a mixer, but using one for 1–2 minutes makes the dip extra light and creamy. Stirring by hand is perfectly fine if you want to avoid extra dishes.
  • This dip is also a delicious topping for pancakes or waffles.
  • If you want a thick, scoopable dip, Greek yogurt is best. Regular yogurt will produce a thinner result.
  • To make a chocolate-peanut butter version, stir in a tablespoon or two of cocoa powder or mini chocolate chips.
